i found something interesting while reading my older blog posts.
as of feb 22 2007, these were the goals that i had hoped to accomplish before beginning uni (in NUS) :
i realise that there are many out there who are less fortunate than i am
and i hope to be able to do what i can to help them.
more importantly though,
i realise that the people who have been around supporting me are still here.
thank you God for them and for You :)
as of feb 22 2007, these were the goals that i had hoped to accomplish before beginning uni (in NUS) :
1)try wakeboarding
2)go rockclimbing in singapore
3)go on a holiday with my friends
4)have a lot of sleepovers and movie marathons
5)develop a proper work out routine
6)learn how to cook
7)read more books, particularly christian books and classics
8)buy an acoustic guitar
9)(overseas) community service
10)get involved in missions
roughly 1 year and 4 months later, i realised i have surprisingly accomplished a number of those goals.
i've gone on a holiday with friends, definitely had sleepovers and movie marathons, learnt how to cook after coming to melbourne, done some rockclimbing here, read a couple of books and am going overseas to do community work next year.
yay!
*still not done:
1) wakeboarding (not that into it anymore, since i've done surfing :) )
2) proper work out routine (haha, what a joke!)
3) buy an acoustic guitar
4) get involved in missions
other than my goals, i realise that a lot has changed since uni life began.
i've learnt to be more independent and i see the world in a different light now.roughly 1 year and 4 months later, i realised i have surprisingly accomplished a number of those goals.
