done.

YES.

i am finally done with

1) exams

2) 8 HOURS OF CLEANING AND PACKING!

now i really do have a HUGE amount of respect for cleaning aunties who are probably 3 times my age and work 9 hours a day, 5 days a week, and probably even more!

today i vacuumed 3 rooms, washed 1 bathroom, cleaned the kitchen stove, took out 4 boxes full of recyclable trash and tidied up the huge mess that was accumulated in my room and james' room over the exam period and packed a suitcase full of stuff to bring back to singapore!

whee i feel extremely accomplished and i would like to thank justin timberlake, the hush sound, the backstreet boys, britney spears, sara bareilles and james morrison for singing away the sheer pain and agony of the entire process.

here's some before/after shots i took just for fun.

my room: before

and after :)

my cousin (james') room: before

and after :)

and the deflated gym ball that i unfortunately had to throw away because i accidentally burnt a hole in it while ironing in my room :s
(sorry paul!)

2 more days..

statistics say that 10% of voters choose the candidate most likely to win because it makes them feel better about themselves.

though i personally think that 10% is an understatement, i must admit that i'm slightly guilty of being part of that group even though i'm technically not voting.

having quickly glanced through the key election issues that distinguish mccain and obama on the bbc website, obama's policies do seem a lot clearer and more specific, though some may argue that they are also more ambitious and less pragmatic. also, his liberal view towards abortion doesn't really excite me especially since he has been so open about his christian faith.

oh well, after all, we do live in a fallen unipolar world and will soon have to embrace this new presidency, whether we like it or not.
