i went surfing today! :)
it was so much fun even though the waves repeatedly smashed into my face, i fell off my board countless times and swallowed a couple of mouthfuls of seawater.

can't wait to go again!
my cousin lea and i should be taking up surfing lessons pretty soon, so it should be good cos i mostly clung onto the board today and couldn't really stand up in time to catch the waves :/
am pretty happy that i have found christian union too.
i enjoy it much better than ocf (overseas christian fellowship) which was 99.9% singaporeans and malaysians.
felt like i was back in nus again.
plus their emphasis was more on evangelism instead of growth so si hua and i decided to check out cu though it's more aussie based.
i'm really glad that God led us there because they have more opportunities for spiritual development,
together with evangelism and the leaders seem to be more mature and experienced.
i'll be going for their camp next weekend which is at another surfing beach (!!) called anglesea.
heh. but i don't suppose we'll be doing any surfing as part of christian camp.
oh well, still looking forward to it anyway.
